How will you invest your time - The Impact Investment Summit

I left a career as a political staffer years ago because I wanted to actually spend my doing something that would make a real difference. I didn’t want to spend my time dealing with clusters of crisis after crisis.
I’m reflecting on this now because I’ve just written a piece on the horrendous events in Syria. It took me 30 minutes to blast out, but generally, the energy I expended was negative.
And this is why I love what I do on the Impact Investment Summit and with my own communications advisory, Impact Group International.

I only get energising energy when I work on this.
Do you know what I mean? It’s energy that doesn’t get me down, it makes me excited to be part of something bigger, more meaningful, and within a community that constantly inspires me.
So thank you, for driving that positive energy!
Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been in touch to share our kicker program and leading events at the Summit, which will take place from the 26-28 October, at Doltone House. We’re excited (like getting ready for a party!) and hope you are too.
You can still register for what I know will be a brilliant two days.
This week, I wanted to share insights from one of our keynotes, Amit Bhatia and why he’s thrilled to be joining you in October. Amit is CEO of the Impact Investors Council, the Indian representative on the Global Social Impact Investment Steering Group, and is an award-winning social entrepreneur.
Amit is headlining the session on opportunities in Asia and the Pacific and will focus extensively on the impact investment landscape and success factors of Indian funds.
Amit spent five minutes with us over the weekend to give you an insight into what is driving him.
Yours in impact
